I just graduated from college in May 2025 with a double-degree in Computer Science and Studio Arts, landed in San Francisco roughly 2 weeks ago, and is still figuring out what I want to pursue for my 20s, using the product design skill & love for the planet I'm equipped with.
Projects I've been up to in this discovery:
I won school 1st prize performing a roleplay reading to The Little Match Girl by Hans Andersen, which got me fell in love with telling stories about human lives.
I pitched a mobile app to help detect workplace sexual harassment. My proof-of-concept didn't make it pass the quarter-final of Technovation 2019, but now I know technology is my gateway to building the world I want to live in, and that solving systemic problems requires systematic solutions.
I learnt about UX design and DIY my first case study at DemocracyLab.org. I also volunteered designing several websites and graphic assets for non-profits and eventually initiated a usability testing workshop to revamp my college technology resource hub. I found meaning in projects that make technology an ally to people and the communities who need it most. And I've been UX-ing since :)
Any process, product, or service that reduces negative environmental impacts through significant energy efficiency improvements.
Never realized jumping rope takes that much body coordination as well as rhythm syncing. My goal is to dance with it.
I want to use this as a tool to tell people what I learned about climate tech & design.
